My Heart Rains Colors
My heart rains colors of dark and glimmers
A small radiance of what remains
Of the day I knew you
A memory fleeting
The dream I can’t retain
A watercolor sky
From a storm’s blackened eye
For to catch the beauty
A fool
Only I
Elusive~ disappearing
Colors escaping
To realms such unknown
The heart then doth become
Loves only fossil
The fragile fortune
Of one~

Winter Crystal 2011
Jennifer H. Mcgee
You are
a winter crystal
Your love~
cold and frozen
my hardened heart
you still break~
In pieces I’m shattered
You still stand
an ice statue
Bitter and unforgiving
This love frosted
In veils of discontent
How do I break thee?
With cloaks
Of the master
I Warm
the children of
disaster
A small
But certain chill
Still rings~
It is then I am reminded
of the fierceness
Beneath which I am Blinded
your beauty
and careful design
My Heart Rains Colors
My heart rains colors of dark and glimmers
A small radiance of what remains
Of the day I knew you
A memory fleeting
The dream I can’t retain
A watercolor sky
From a storm’s blackened eye
For to catch the beauty

Loves only fossil

An Exquisite poem~
The words of a dear Wild hearted gypsy friend ~
Sherry Sharp~
Horizon Ride
I have a wild heart
And the untamed tongue of a poet
I’m a tree climber
A sightseer
I need the bird’s eye view
My wings chaotically tucked on most days
Only in the morning moment quiet
Aching hard to unfurl
I’ve turned myself inside out
Took a thousand years to come back to where I always stood
I only want to dab a kaleidoscope across my sky
Across yours
Gold dust it with my inner musings
Pluck yours out
One by one
Rub them tender against my cheek
Yes, I’m a wind-blown vibrant mess
A fiery love
A splash of molten trouble
Harmless though in my ways
I won’t be protected from the things I say
From the unbridling of all I am
Will you?
It has begun
The life that poems are made of
A million miles forward in the sun
Cling to me
Because I see you and because you know I do
Leave everything you are not behind
It’s just a nosedive
A wicked swoop up and out…
To a tempestuous, glorious, brilliant
In the moment
Horizon ride

My Love~
My love runs through~
Like the blood of time
Runs through the veins
of the Master clock~
Destiny prevails
In this ageless tale
And breathes the words
Love is a rock~♥

Melodies from the Other Side
Intense silence as she walked in the room. Her black robes trailing. Sisters of the moon.
Stevie Nicks
She returns
like a divine spell
when summer is gold and
skies beam crescent silhouettes of
tipsy light and
cosmic flowers
in ripe devoted
rows
of a shining universe, in which
life finds purpose
and purpose
finds life
